Developing Properties. Building Communities.
We plan, develop, finance and acquire residential and commercial properties with the goal of creating real estate that serves a higher purpose.
Circa 1892
Circa1892, named for the year the town of Colonial Beach was incorporated, is located on a key town thoroughfare, Hawthorn Street. The wine bar is “sandwiched” between newly restored CoBe Workspaces and Hawthorn Mercantile, a local retail shop. It’s all part of Colonial Beach’s vision for a revitalized, walkable downtown—a place to eat, stay, work, and play.
CoBe Workspaces
During Phase II of our Colonial Beach project, we converted three existing offices and retail space downtown. The space is partially utilized by CoBe Workspaces. Retail space on the ground floor helps recreate that small-town charm in Downtown Colonial Beach. We designed CoBe Workspaces around the vault of the historic former Bank of Westmoreland, and converted that space into a one-of-a-kind conference room.
School Hill Townes
The name of this community pays homage to the town's past. After several discussions with local historians and residents, it was clear that the former school building located on the site was a significant piece of the town's history, so it was important to honor it. We hope we did the town right.
Colonial Beach
The four-phase development will create new jobs and generate new tax revenues for town services and infrastructure, attract new businesses, and provide additional lodging, shopping, and recreation options for visitors to the second largest public sand beach in the Commonwealth. The adjoining boardwalk will benefit from the addition of the hotel by connecting visitors to the beach, riverfront, and historic downtown.
