Dodson Development plans, develops, finances and acquires residential and commercial properties in Virginia with the goal of creating real estate that serves a higher purpose. Over the course of their careers, members of Dodson Development the team have developed over $100 million of commercial projects. Founded in 2018, Dodson Development Group focuses on urban opportunistic infill projects in transitional neighborhoods that include multifamily, commercial, and mixed use projects, mostly in Richmond and Colonial Beach, Virginia.

Duke Dodson founded Dodson Property Management in 2007. At its peak, DPM managed over 5,500 residential units, 2.5 million SF of commercial space and 14,000 HOA doors. In 2022, DPM divested its single family and HOA divisions to Evernest, based in Birmingham, AL, and its multifamily division to Atrium Management Company in Orlando, FL. Duke still sits on the boards of those two companies, and Dodson Companies continues to work hand in hand with both Evernest and Atrium.

Strategic Partner & Asset Manager
Adam manages all aspects of the execution of Dodson Development Group’s developments and acquisitions, including due diligence, entitlements, design, financing, construction and asset management.
Prior to joining DDG, Adam worked for Caddis Partners in Dallas, Texas and Clark Construction in Bethesda, Maryland. Adam holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Real Estate Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
